Our San Telmo coliving is the most characterful of all our Buenos Aires apartments. Located on Chile 800, right in the heart of one of the city's oldest and most atmospheric neighbourhoods, this is the address for international students and expats who want to feel fully immersed in Buenos Aires — cobblestone streets, tango milongas, weekend street fairs, and century-old architecture just outside your front door.
The apartment accommodates up to five flatmates at any time, the majority of them internationals — university exchange students, Spanish language learners, remote workers, and travellers on extended stays. The house has a genuine community feel: flatmates regularly explore the neighbourhood together, head to the famous Feria de San Telmo on Sundays, or catch a tango show on Defensa Street just minutes from home.
Everything is included in the rent: high-speed WiFi, electricity, gas, water, a fully equipped kitchen, weekly cleaning, sheets and bedding, and your own set of keys with no curfew. Arrive with just your luggage — no deposits on utilities, no hidden costs.
All prices are per person, per month, with all utilities included. Contact us for current availability and exact rates.
Minimum stay: 1 month. Prices are quoted in USD and remain stable regardless of Argentine peso fluctuations — one less thing to worry about as a student or expat. Room upgrades from shared double to single are possible when availability allows.
All utility bills are included: electricity, gas, and water are covered in your monthly rent — no surprises, no separate accounts to set up. You'll receive your own set of keys with no curfew, giving you complete freedom to come and go as you please at any hour.

San Telmo is Buenos Aires' oldest neighbourhood and one of its most captivating. Bounded by Chile, Defensa, Av. Brasil and Av. Paseo Colón, it is a world of cobblestone streets, colonial mansions, intimate courtyards, and faded elegance that makes it unlike anywhere else in the city. For international students in particular, it offers a sense of living inside a real city — not just a tourist zone.
Every Sunday the neighbourhood transforms: Defensa Street closes to traffic and becomes a vibrant open-air fair stretching from Plaza Dorrego down to Parque Lezama. Antique dealers, artisan stalls, street food, tango dancers, musicians, acrobats, and living statues all take over the cobblestones. It's one of Buenos Aires' great free spectacles, and it happens right on your doorstep.
San Telmo is also the city's spiritual home of tango. Several milongas (tango dance halls) operate in the neighbourhood, and many restaurants feature live performances in the evenings. Whether you want to watch or learn, you won't have to go far.
The neighbourhood has excellent transport links — multiple bus routes connect it to the rest of the city, and the Línea C subway (Independencia station) is a short walk away. The Microcentro and Puerto Madero are both easily reachable on foot or by bike.
